Guides to the Fair:

What is the St. Mary’s Country Fair?

The Country Fair is our biggest fundraiser, held on campus the first weekend of October every year. Families enjoy rides, live entertainment, bingo, food, and more during this three-day community event. Proceeds support St. Mary School and Parish!

How will the Fair be eco-friendly this year?

We’re committed to making this year’s Fair more sustainable! From compostable food containers and utensils to eliminating single-use plastics, every detail is designed with the environment in mind. Plus, our new water stations help cut down on waste by encouraging reusable bottles. Together, we’re making eco-friendly choices for a better community and a healthier planet.

How do I buy wristbands and tickets, and can I buy them ahead of time?

Tickets and wristbands are available on the fair website. Buying in advance saves money and directs more proceeds to the school and parish. Wristbands (best value for multiple rides) are required for rides; individual ride tickets are also sold onsite. Tickets are also used for the KidZone and food booths, making it easy for kids to purchase on their own.

How many tickets should we purchase for rides, booths, etc?

We recommend one wristband per child for unlimited rides (valid for one day only). For three days, purchase one per day. KidZone activities need tickets (not wristbands), usually 3–5 for each game. Families often start with $20–$30 of tickets per child. Food is easiest with a credit card, but tickets work well for kids to buy on their own!

Should I get a wristband for my younger child (~2 years old) or are they too young to ride anything? And can adults ride the rides too or are they just for the kids?

Ride options vary each year, but there are always a few for toddlers (like the carousel). Some require an adult to ride with them, so you may want a wristband for yourself as well. Adults are welcome to ride!

How is the fair run, and can I volunteer to help?

The fair is run entirely by school and parish volunteers. Each family is asked to sign up for at least 3 shifts. Volunteer roles include food booths, KidZone games, and more. Sign up today!

What is the Harvest Market?

The Harvest Market is an adults-only shopping event in the gym on Thursday, October 2. Entry is free from 11am–5pm. From 5–9pm, tickets are $20 and include wine and appetizers. A portion of proceeds supports the school and parish!

What is the KidZone?

The KidZone is a dedicated area of the fair designed for kids under 12, offering a variety of games and activities for all ages, from the littlest ones to middle schoolers. Games range from basketball shooting and bowling to hockey slap shot. Throughout the weekend, additional activities like face painting, henna, balloon artistry, and temporary tattoos are also available. There’s something for everyone in the KidZone!
